HYDRO ONE CONTINUES TO FLIP THE SWITCH ON
BETTER SERVICE

We are expanding the successes of our winter reconnection program launched this past December to provide relief measures for customers that accumulated significant balances on their accounts over the winter months.

We are also putting value back into the hands of our customers by eliminating all residential security deposits, returning existing deposits and reducing deposit requirements for businesses. To help Hydro One’s most vulnerable customers we will also contribute an additional $2.2 million to the United Way for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program.

The government just announced changes that will provide significant electricity bill relief. As a result, Hydro One customers will start to see lower monthly bills as early as this summer. We advocated for these changes because we heard your concerns. That’s the new Hydro One.

We’re also renewing our commitment to customer service: returning calls within one business day, no missed appointments and completing new connections within 5 business days. And we’re backing that commitment with a $75 guarantee.
